Memphis State Recreation Area offers 150 primitive
campsites. It is a great place to cast a line and kick
back and relax.
Playground equipment is available for kids and there is
lots of trees and shade available.
Directions: Memphis State Recreation Area is just
south of the little community of Memphis, Nebraska. From
Lincoln, travel north on highway 77 to highway 63 and turn
south. You'll travel past turn offs for Ithaca and Mead
before you reach Memphis. Turn south into town and follow the
road until you find the recreation area.
