Wahoo Boy Graduate of West Point

JUNE 3, 1943 - Among the cadets graduating from the United States Military Academy on June 1, 1943, was Keith A. Whitaker, son of Mr. and Mrs. Henry L. Whitaker of Wahoo. A graduateof Wahoo High School received his appointment to West Point from Rep. Henry C. Luckey of the1st Nebraska District, after he had attended Luther College for one year, and prepared for his entrance examination at Bruce's Preparatory school, Leavenworth, Kan., and Sullivan's Preparatory School, Washington, D. C. He will receive his commission in the Air Force.
