Saunders County Museum - Yesterday's Tomorrows

The Museum will be the site of traveling exhibit that is being presented by the Nebraska Humanities Council and was developed by the Smithsonian Institution Traveling Exhibition Service (SITES) with the National Museum of American History. 

The exhibit will be up from June 3 to August 3, 2003.  "Yesterday's Tomorrows" uses popular culture objects such as toys, books, car and house designs, and advertisements to examine ways in which Americans of the last 3 centuries have envisioned the future.

The Museum will supplement the exhibit with programs and other exhibits that will follow similar themes to the "Yesterday's Tomorrow's" exhibit.
